Goalkeepers play on a soccer field, specifically in the goal area near their team's net.

What do they actually do?

A goalkeeper’s main job is to prevent the opposing team from scoring goals. They use their hands, feet, and entire body to block shots, catch crosses, and direct the defense. They also start plays by distributing the ball to teammates.

What kind of person does this?

Focused and alert for long periods
Brave (not afraid of diving into tackles or blocking shots)
Team-oriented, but also able to handle pressure individually
Mentally tough, able to bounce back after mistakes
 They’re often leaders on the field and the last line of defense.

Quick reflexes and reaction time

Good communication (to organize the defense)
